Qualiphied is a Ponte Vedra Beach-based freelance creative specializing in visual identity, branding and having fun. The most common question about Qualiphied is, "What is Phi?" The most basic and pragmatic approach is the Phi ratio of 1:1.618(...). More commonly known as the Golden Ratio or Fibonacci Sequence, the ratio and number sequence are recognized for creating "perfect" symmetry and balance. A common image associated with Phi is the Fibonacci spiral, which illustrates the number progression, where each value is the sum of the previous two (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13,...).
Ineffectual, but it sounds way more complicated than it is. Despite being the red-headed stepchild to wunderkind pi, Phi is far more ubiquitous. Noted for its natural occurrence (e.g., rose petals), it's also found in "The Last Supper", the architecture of the Parthenon, musical scales, DNA and even stock market analytics.
